Hey y’all! Thanks for visiting!

Let’s start this post out with a confession: I have a huge obsession with mahjong. The amount of time I think about this game, shopping for accessories, playing, and (now) hosting is borderline embarrassing. That’s why I’m here! I started out teaching the game to family and friends so that I could enjoy the game with them and I quickly realized I had a knack for teaching.

So I figured, why not make this obsession thing official and give it a name? And that’s how Mahjong Rodeo was born!

If you’ve ever played a game of mahjong, you know there’s a certain magic to it. The clinking of tiles, the thrill of drawing a winning hand, and the way you can instantly make a new friend at the game table is what has me hooked.

My goal for Mahjong Rodeo is simple: to make mahjong accessible to my community, create unforgettable experiences, and make new mahj friends!

I live in The Woodlands, TX and I’m available to come to you near and far! (Have tiles, will travel! I can’t think of anything better than an actual mahjong business trip.) I’d love to come to your home or favorite bar/restaurant to teach or host your family and friends. There are so many different reasons why mahjong is a good idea:

Friendsgiving

A boozy girls night out
Couples night (Men love to mahj, too!)
Community group bonding
Fundraising events
There’s no wrong answer here

Mahjong has taught me so much- not just about strategy, but about patience, community, and the joy of a shared experience (and bottle of wine). I believe everyone deserves to feel that joy, too!

I’m also a Christian, a mother, and a wife, and these roles are at the core of who I am. My faith, my family, and my love for connecting with others inspire everything I do - including my journey with mahjong.
